Meet the Artist…

Art that refuses to blend in

Painting and drawing all her life, Tanya now specialises in nature and animal portraits. Her recent addiction is landscapes, taking on wild depictions of thunderous clouds and sweeping hills, to deep forests full of trees.

Using a wide range of mediums, from pencils to pastels and everything in between, there’s something for everyone in the delightful scenes and powerful imagery.

Art has always been a form of expression, and often a way to escape the world for a while and create her own one. The process of creating artworks has been a way for her to manage her mental health, getting lost in the flow of paint and usually VERY loud music, she can focus away from her mind and on to the canvas. She loves to paint, and would recommend it to anyone as a form of therapy and expression.

Her artwork has been displayed in various galleries, including Capital Art Gallery, London, and frequently hosts stalls at Milford Community Centre during their antique fairs. A large collection of her available artwork can also be found for sale at The Squirrel Inn pub, Hurtmore.
